A new beginning.  In honor of the upcoming summer and the fresh, new life of mine that just started it is a pleasure for me to introduce another small, new era to begin: the era of the Heeled Adventures. I wish all of you so very welcome from the bottom of my heart, wether you’re an old reader from the Silver Linings or a new reader!

Even though the point of blogging has always been to serve as a moment of relaxation and pleasure in the midst of the busy life I tend to live, the feedback received and the lovely comments written by readers have always made me extremely happy and I truly hope that as many as possible of the our old readers find their way here, and later on to the blog my fellow friend-in-crime Heli from Silver Linings probably will establish in the future.

Heeled adventures will be, alike my old blog, primarily a fashion blog and I don’t think I will describe my personal life in an especially frequent or detailed manner. However, if you have any questions I am more than happy to answer them as well as I can.

The name of this blog is reflecting on my current life-situation: high-school is over and what awaits me in the future I do not know. All I am aware of is that during the next year I will for sure enjoy a giant, slightly scary, however a very lovely freedom and gap year. Adventure is what I am looking forward to, and those adventures I will face with high heels on my feet – Heeled Adventures!

I have chosen to write in both Finnish and English, even though someone might find it slightly messy. I feel like it’s natural to write in Finnish since I am  Finnish and have so many Finnish friends, yet feel like it is hugely important to hold on to my skills in English so that I won’t forget everything the IB taught me.   Finally all I can say is that I truly wish all of you very welcome to follow my Heeled Adventures and hope that you enjoy what you see and hang out with me over here every now and then!

// Uusi alku. Ihanaa julistaa pieni, uusi aikakausi alkaneeksi kesän ja alkaneen uuden elämän kunniaksi: Heeled Adventures on täällä. Toivotan mitä lämpimimmin tervetulleeksi niin vanhat lukijat Silver Liningsiltä kuin myös mahdolliset uudet lukijat! Vaikka bloggailuni tarkoituksena on pääasiallisesti aina toimia omana pienenä arjen kevennyksenä, lukijoiden palaute ja ihanat kommentit ovat aina piristäneet ja toivon, että mahdollisimman moni löytääkin tiensä vanhasta blogista tänne ja myöhemmin myös siihen blogiin, jonka Silver Liningsiltä tuttu friend-in-crime Heli tulevaisuudessa perustaa.

 Heeled adventures tulee vanhan blogin tapaan olemaan ennen kaikkea muotiblogi enkä usko, että tulen erityisen runsaasti tai yksityiskohtaisesti kuvailemaan yksityiselämääni. Jos jotain kiinnostavaa kysymystä kuitenkin keksitte niin vastailen kysymyksiin enemmän kuin mielelläni! 

Blogin nimi peilaa tämänhetkistä elämäntilannettani: lukio on loppu ja edessä odottaa suunnaton, pelottava ja silti kovin ihana vapaus ja välivuosi. Seikkailua näen tulevaisuudessa tahdoin sitä tai en (ja kaipa minä sitä tahdon), enkä kiellä sitä, ettenkö noita tulevaisuuden seikkailuja ilomielin ottaisi vastaan – korkojen kera. Seikkalujani (ja korkojeni kopinaa) saatte ilomielin seurailla täällä, mikäli siltä tuntuu. Olen päättänyt kirjoitella suomeksi ja englanniksi, sillä suomeksi kirjoittaminen tuntuu luonnolliselta täällä Suomessa ja toisaalta koen tärkeäksi englannin taidoista kiinni pitämisen näin IBn loppumisen jälkeen.      

Lopuksi voin kai enää sanoa kaikille tervetuloa ja toivoa, että pidätte näkemästänne ja hengailette kanssani täällä aina silloin tällöin! Lämminta ja onnellista alkavaa kesää kaikille!
