During the past few years my absolute favourite website in the marvellous world of the internet has been WeHeartIt. On a daily basis I find numerous inspiring images, quotes and outfits hearted by the users I follow. To share this flow of inspiring images with you I thought I would establish an own category for this inspiration on the Heeled Adventures. In the Weekly favourites – category I will share with you my favourite images of the week, if then as quotes, snapshots or editorials. On the same time I could perhaps tell you something of what inspires and excites me at the moment – I can tell you there are a plenty of those things!

During this week I have once again realised one of my favourite animals is the giraff – it’s weird long neck has always fascinated me. My favourite word of the week is the word kindness. The ordinary kindness one can face every day is one of the most special things in life, I believe. Nothing makes a bad, or even a good day better than the smile or kind word of a stranger or a friend. The most inspiring people are my style icon Sarah Jessica Parker, the always-so-charming Audrey Hepburn, the fresh and humorous Nicole Richie, as well as one of my favourite actors Leonardo DiCaprio. Btw… Aren’t Nicole’s crazy Louboutines in the last picture the most ridiculously cool, crazy yet classy pair of shoes ever!?

// Muutaman kuluneen vuoden aikana kestosuosikkisivustoni internetin ihmeellisessä maailmassa on ollut WeHeartIt. Päivittäin löydän seuraamiltani käyttäjilta inspiroivia kuvia, sanontoja ja asuja yms. Jakaakseni tätä inspiraatiota täällä teidänkin kanssanne ajattelin perustaa Heeled Adventuresissa oman Weekly favorites-osion, jossa jaan jokaviikkoiset lempparit niin erilaisten sanontojen, snapshottien kuin myös editorialien saralla. Samalla voin hiukan kertoilla siitä, mikä minua milloinkin innostaa ja kiinnostaa – innostavia ja kiinnostavia asioita nimittäin löytyy jokseenkin runsaasti!

Tällä viikolla olen jälleen kerran todennut yhden lempieläimeni olevan kirahvi, josta päästäänkin kätevästi aasinsiltaa pitkin sanaan kindness. Jokapäiväinen ja arjessa törmättävä ystävällisyys ja hyvyys ovat asioita, joita todella arvostan – mikään ei tee huonoa päivää ihanammaksi kuin tuntemattoman (tai tunnetunkin) ihmisen hymy, oven avaaminen tai ystävällinen sana. Viikon inspiroivimmat henkilöt ovat tyyli-ikonini Sarah-Jessica Parker, aina yhtä lumoava Audrey Hepburn, vallaton ja huumorintajuinen Nicole Richie, sekä suosikkinäyttelijöhini lukeutuva Leonardo DiCaprio. Eivätkö ole muuten aivan naurettavan, epätodellisen ihanat nuo viimeisessä kuvassa vilahtavat Nicole Richien Louboutinit!?
