There are so many beautiful places and cities in this world, but this far only one city out of the places I’ve visited has made a lasting impression such, that I simply need to get back there. Rome. For some reason (could it possibly be because of this horrid weather…) the city has popped onto my mind rather frequently during the past few weeks, which is why I ended up looking through old photos. Few pictures were so incredibly beautiful I just had to share them with you! We spent a week around the New Year of 2011-2012 in the city and even though it was mid-winter back then, I laughingly (and in tears) admit that the weather actually was prettier there back then than what it is here in Turku at the moment. Going through these photos just make my fever for travelling rise – I wish I’d find a job asap, get some salary and the chance to buy tickets for a weekend in Rome or Amsterdam!

Ihania paikkoja ja kaupunkeja on tässä maailmassa monta, mutta tähän mennessä vain yksi kaupunki on jäänyt mieleen niin voimakkaasti, että sinne on ehdottomasti vielä palattava. Rooma. Jostain kumman syystä (ehkä kauhean ilman takia…) kaupunki on palannut mieleeni useasti viime viikkojen aikana, ja sen takia päädyinkin katsomaan läpi vanhoja kuva-arkistoja. Sen verran upeita kuvia tuolta parin vuoden takaiselta matkalta löytyikin, että ajattelin ne kanssanne jakaa. Kävimme siellä  vuosien 2011-2012 vaihteessa ja vaikka silloin olikin talvi, naurattaa (ja toisaalta myös itkettää) myöntää, että ilma oli siellä kauniimpi kuin mitä täällä Turussa tällä hetkellä on. Näitä kuvia fiilistellessä alkaa kyllä matkakuume nousemaan – kunpa jo saisin töitä, palkkaa ja mahdollisuuden ostaa lentoliput Roomaan tai Damiin!
