BURGUNDY

Every now and then photos turn out a lot better than expected. The previous time that happen it resulted in this post, and now it happen again – when we shot these images everything just seemed to click and match the visions we had in mind! I was so, so happy, since this is an outfit I’ve been hoping to shoot of you for almost an year now! Somehow I’ve never managed to, but a few days ago, once the sun was out and my sis and I had a gap in our daily schedules, I decided it was time to make my “dream” come true – and it totally did! Everything about this pictures seem to satisfy my soul: the colours match perfectly in all senses! The skirt and shirt were actually originally bought at the sale at Stockmann almost an year ago for that exact reason: they match so well it feels as if they were meant to be together. What comes to the bag, it was not intended to match, but somehow just ended up being perfect for this look. Originally it was an impulse purchase during a day trip to Helsinki, but for once a very useful one. Oh goosh, I’m just smiling at this side of the screen, I hope you like this post as much as I do!

Aina joskus jotkut kuvat onnistuvat yli odotusten. Edellisen kerran niin kävi tässä postauksessa, ja kun tämän postauksen asua kuvattiin kaikki tuntui jälleen kerran loksahtavan kohdilleen! Ilo ylimmillään, sillä tämän asun olen halunnut tänne kuvailla jo varmaan runsaan vuoden! Jotenkin en ole koskaan siinä ole onnistunut, mutta kun pari päivää sitten aurinko paistoi ja meillä oli siskon kanssa hetki aikaa, päätin vihdoin tämän “unelman” toteuttaa ja se onnistui. Väreiltään kaikki näissä kuvissa tuntuu tyydyttävän yhtenäisyyttä kaipaavaa sieluani – hameen ja paidan ostin aikoinaan Stockmannin alennusmyynneistä juuri sen takia, että ne auttamatta ovat kuin luodut toisilleen, laukku puolestaan oli (kerrankin onnistunut) heräteostos eräältä päiväretkeltä Helsinkiin ja sopii ihan vahingossa tähän asuun kuin nakutettu. Tällä puolen ruutua ollaan yhtenä hymynä, toivottavasti tekin tykkäilette!
