CULOTTES

Greetings from the archipelago and my safe haven aka our summer cottage! In Finland we’re celebrating the midsummer as well as we can despite of the terrible weather. It feels so good to be here again, yet I can admit I look forward to Sunday and getting back to the city, my friends, my playing and the preparations for my move to Helsinki. I can’t wait for the first of July when I’ll get the keys for my apartment and get to put the first things in place. It feels divine to know that this dream of mine is seriously becoming reality and that within one and a half month my official home will be in Helsinki instead of Turku!

Otherwise I’m having kind of a bad period going on what comes to blogging. It seems like there would be a blockage of some kind in my brain what comes to writing and I find it very hard to write anything at all even though I’m usually always scribbling down all these long stories of whats going on in my mind. Thus I’ll say no more and simply post these photos of an outfit, that for sure will be one of the most used ones in case we’ll get any hot days this summer! Culotte-shaped pants seem to be slightly strugglesome for my body type, however this pair seemed to work quite well with a loose top and silver coloured details. It’s simple, comfortable and perfect for a hot day! What are your thoughts on culotte shaped pants? Love them or hate them?

//Terveisiä täältä Turun saaristosta, toivottavasti teidän juhannuksen viettonne on alkanut yhtä rentoutuneissa tunnelmissa kuin täällä surkeasta säästä huolimatta! Mökillä on ihana olla taas pitkästä aikaa vaikka voin myöntää odottavani innolla sunnuntaita, jona taas pääsen palaamaan kaupunkiin ystävien, soittojen, muuttovalmistelujen ja blogin pariin. Odotan malttamattomana heinäkuun ensimmäistä päivää, jona vihdoin saan avaimet Helsingin kämppään ja pääsen siirtämään ensimmäisiä tavaroita (astioita, mattoja, pyyhkeitä yms). Niin ihanaa tietää, että muutto vihdoin on ihan aikuisten oikeasti todellinen ja että puolentoista kuukauden päästä virallinen asuinpaikkani on Turun sijasta Helsinki!!!

Muuten tällä hetkellä on vähän sellainen vaihe meneillään, etten oikein osaa kirjoittaa yhtään mitään. Useimmiten (kuten varmaan blogitekstien pituudesta osaatte tulkita) mielestäni on ihanaa höpistä hiukan kaikesta ja minun on vaikea pitää tekstejä lyhyinä, mutta nyt säästän teidät turhilta pulinoilta, koska tämän enempää sanottavaa tai kerrottavaa ei oikein tunnu olevan. Tässä kuitenkin vielä kuvat asusta, joka varmasti tulee toimimaan toivottavasti tulossa olevien hellepäivien pelastajana. Culotte-malliset housut ovat hiukan hankalat, mutta toimivat jotenkin yllättävän kivasti löysän topin ja hopeisten yksityiskohtien kanssa. Palaamisiin, ihania kesäpäiviä ja juhannusta!
