On jälleen sunnuntaisen Sunday Style Crushin aika ja tämänviikkoinen tyyli-ihastukseni on sarjan ensimmäinen suomalainen, nimittäin Matilda Morelius! Andiatan perustajan, Tarja Rantasen, tytär ja nykyään suomalaismerkille työskentelevä 22-vuotias Morelius vei tyylisydämeni aikoinan Instagramissa ja siitä päivästä lähtien olen ihastellut hänen ihanan minimalistista ja klassista tapaansa yhdistellä vaatteita toisiinsa.

Matildan tyylissä ja vaatteissa ihastuttavat ennen kaikkea kauniin klassiset leikkaukset, ihanan neutraali ja elegantti sävypaletti, naisellisuus ja jollain tapaa myös mutkattomuus. Yksinkertainen on (todella) kaunista, etenkin näin taitavasti toteutettuna! Vaikka erittäin pelkistetystä skandi-tyylistä kovasti pidänkin, on Moreliuksen tyylissä jotain klassisempaa ja naisellisemmalla tavalla eleganttia, joka todella miellyttää silmääni. Love it!

Matildalta haluaisin poimia omaan tyyliini pettämättömän silmän klassisten värien yhdistelylle, silmän kauniille yksinkertaisuudelle, less is more-ajattelutavan sekä taidon käyttää leveälahkeisia housuja noin vaivattoman tyylikkäästi.

// This week’s Sunday Style Crush is the first Finnish one in the history of Heeled Adventures! Matilda Morelius is the daughter of the founder of Finnish clothing brand Andiata, and I’ve followed her ever since I first found her on Instagram a few years ago. Back then I fell in love with her gorgeously minimalistic and elegant style and her way of pairing classic pieces with each other, and that love and admiration hasn’t gone anywhere ever since.

What do I then admire the most in Matilda’s style? I love the beautiful and classic cuts she wears time after time, the neutral and extremely elegant colour scheme she rocks, the femininity and in some ways also the simplicity. Less is (really) more, in particular when it’s this well executed. Although I in general love the Scandinavian minimalistic style aswell, I must say I much prefer Morelius’ more classic and perhaps French approach.

From Matilda I’d love to adapt her impeccible eye for monochrome outfits, her confidence to rely on that less really is more, her sense of beautiful simplicity and her skill of wearing wide legged trousers so effortlessly.
