Instagram on ehdoton suosikkini kaikista tämänhetkisistä sosiaalisen median kanavista. Seuraan pääosin vaikuttajia neljässä eri kategoriassa; lifestyle, muoti, äitiys ja sisustus, ja vaikka osa-alueet sekoittuvatkin usein toisiinsa, toimii yhdistävänä tekijänä seuraamillani tileillä positiivisuus, visuaalisesti kauniit asiat sekä persoonallinen tapa toteuttaa itseään. // Instagram is one of my absolute favourite social media platforms at the moment, and lately I’ve been lucky to find so many new inspiring people to follow! I mainly follow people in the categories of lifestyle, fashion, motherhood and decoration, and although these things mix up on many accounts the one thing that unites them all is that they are positive, display a lot of beautiful things and reflect a distinctive way to create. As I do my best to share the good and fun things in life over here, I wanted to share with you my 16 favourite accounts to follow. Hope you find some fun new people to follow! 🙂

LIFESTYLE

Suosikki-instaajani ovat persoonallisia ja jakavat iloiten elämän parhaita (ja pahimpia) paloja. Seuraamani neljä naista ovat keskenään hyvinkin erilaisia, mutta kunkin stooreja odotan aina innolla.

Gertrude Tornvall, @gertrudetornvall. Ruotsalainen Gertrude hurmaa valoisalla ja leveällä hymyllään, rennolla tyylillään ja ihanan positiivisella elämänasenteella.

// A Swede with one of the brightest and lightest smiles on the platform, with a relaxed style, a positive attitude and a fun life definitely worth following.

The Fashion Lawyer, @thefashion_lawyer. Tällä tilillä on inspiraatiota kerrakseen. Juristin rohkea tyyli, uraan liittyvät mietteet sekä ihanan terävä huumorintaju saavat minut jatkamaan seuraamista kuukaudesta ja vuodesta toiseen. Tili on pääasiallisesti omistettu muodille, mutta uraan liittyvät jutut tuovat freesiä vaihtelua.

// Stylish, bold, successful, and keeping it real with a witty sense of humour – this is the Fashion Lawyer. Her instagram account is more about fashion than it is about work and law, but her view points on career most certainly bring a nice twist to the whole thing. She is a true inspiration.

Lorna Luxe, @lornaluxe. Brittiläisten vaikuttajien somettaminen ei lähtökohtaisesti pure, mutta Lornan tilissä pidän ennen kaikkea ihanan yksinkertaisista asuista, hauskoista captioneista sekä ihanan aidoista ja hymyilevistä storeista. Jos yksi suosikkisomettaja pitäisi nimittää, olisi se hän.

// I follow only few British influencers, but Lorna truly stole my heart with her genuine stories, impeccable style and amusing captions. If I had to name a favourite, it’d be her.

Matilde Djerf, @matildedjerf. Matilda on yksi kauneimmista ja aidoimmilta vaikuttavista instaajista. Tilillä ihastuttaa ennen kaikkea itsensä rakastamiseen liittyvät jutut, ihana hymy ja boheemi tyyli.

// One of the most naturally beautiful and sweet people I’ve ever come across on Instagram – ever. The petite model promotes self love, has the sweetest smile, the most gorgeous hair and an amazing style.

FASHION

Päädyn seuraamaan ihmisiä Instagramissa pääasiallisesti kahdesta syystä: a) he inspiroivat, ja b) omaavat ihailtavan tyylitajun. Tässä neljä seuraamaani inspiroivinta muotivaikuttajaa.

The prime reason I follow people on Instagram is that they are a) inspiring and b) have a style I admire. The biggest group on my list of people I follow are women with beautiful styles. Here are the four accounts that inspire me the most when it comes to fashion.

Laura Wills, @thefashionbugblog. Laura on ikisuosikkini. Rakastan jokaista asua, ja pukeutuisin niistä lähes jokaiseen. Ostan harvemmin tuotteita sen takia, että joku vaikuttaja olisi niitä mainostanut, mutta täytyy myöntää, että Laurasta inspiroituneena näin on käynyt jo pariin otteeseen. Perhe-elämän ja kauniiden asujen yhdistelmä on mielestäni ihanaa seurattavaa.

// If I’d have to mention one influencer who’s inspired me to buy things it’d be Laura – my forever favourite grammer, also a former Sunday Style Crush. What can I say. Love every single look, and would gladly wear every single one of them. Besides, her three little girls are just the cutest and bring a perfect balance to her beautiful stories.

Matilda Morelius, @matildamorelius. Niin ikään entinen Sunday Style Crush, Matildan tyylitaju ja eleganssi viehättää edelleen. Matildan instagram onkin tyylipuhdas taidonnäyte siitä, että yksinkertainen todella on kaunista.

// Also a former Sunday Style Crush, Matilda’s timeless sense of style and elegance has me in awe time after time. Her Instagram feed and stories are both a proof of that simplicity (and Paris) is beautiful.

Sascha Beetz, @saschabeetz. Isabella Löwengripin stylistina tunnetuksi tullut Instagrammaaja ihastuttaa tyylipuhtaalla, naisellisella ja skandinaavisella tyylillään.

//One of the girls with the most impeccable, down to earth classy styles. Best known as Isabella Löwengrip’s stylist, I really admire her eye for simplicity.

Vendela Svensson, @vendelasvensson. Parin kuukauden takainen Sunday Style Crush ihastuttaa ennen kaikkea ihanan naisellisilla asuillaan. Vendelan tyylissä pidän ennen kaikkea ajattomuudesta.

// Being a former Sunday Style Crush of mine, I obviously love her account first and foremost for her enviable outfits – I’d still wear any of them. Vendela charms me with her classiness and eye for simply beautiful things.

THE MAMAS

Vuosi toisensa jälkeen totean seuraavani enemmän ja enemmän äitejä. Monet vuosikausia seuraamistani bloggaajista ovat saaneet lapsia, mutta täytyy myös myöntää, että monen äidin kuvaama lapsiarki on niin idyllisen ja viihdyttävän näköistä, että olen monia uusiakin tuttavuuksia alkanut seuraamaan. Valehtelisin myös, jos väittäisin, etteikö perhe-elämän seuraaminen toisi virkistävää vaihtelua muuten kovin ulkonäkökeskeiseen Instagramiin.

// Year after year I find myself following more and more mothers on Instagram. Many of the bloggers I’ve been following for years have gotten or are expecting children, and on the other hand many mothers depcit their days with children in such an idyllic and entertaining way that I’ve ended up following a bunch of new accounts as well. Also, I’d lie if I said I didn’t find following some family life a refreshing change to the otherwise quite fashion centered Instagram.

Courtney Adamo, @courtneyadamo. Viiden lapsen äiti ja bloggaaja kuvaa ihanan tasapainoiselta vaikuttavaa elämäänsä Australian Byron Bayssa. Courtneyn tili on ihanan elämänmakuinen, ja tätä seuratessa tulee kertakaikkisen hyvä mieli.

// This mother of five and writer at babyccino.com is motherhood goals. Courtney depicts her beautiful and balanced life in Australia’s Byron Bay in a lovely, warm and approachable way, and she truly is one of my favourite people to follow in the world of social media.

Sanne Alexandra, @sannealexandra. Sanne Alexandra on yksi uusimmista Instagram-tuttavuuksistani. Sannella on suloisen Frans-pojan äiti ja työskentelee oman vaatemerkkinsä parissa.

// Sanne Alexandra is one of my newest Instagram acquaintances. Mother of adorable Frans, she’s working with her own clothing line, and seems to live such a beautiful life in general.

Alexandra Bring, @alexandrabring. Alexandra on työskennellyt sosiaalisten medioiden parissa jo vuosikaudet, mutta itse aloin häntä seurailemaan vasta viime talvena. Alexandrassa ilahduttaa lähestyttävyys, lämpö, hymyileväisyys sekä suorapuheisuus. Kauniista Instagramistaan huolimatta hän on todella onnistunut myös äitiyden vaikeiden hetkien jakamisessa.

// Alexandra has been around in the influencer games for a long time, yet I only started to follow her this past winter. She’s approachable, warm, smiling and does an incredible job keeping it real. Her Instagram is surely beautiful, but she also doesn’t sugar coat the rougher moments of motherhood. Love it!

Chriselle Lim, @chrisellelim. Chriselle on yksi maailman tunnetuimmista muotibloggaajista, eikä hänestä voi olla pitämättä. Chrisellen pettämätön tyylitaju, kaksi ihanaa tytärtä sekä elämää, äitiyttä ja uraa koskevat mietteet tuntuvat samaistuttavilta, vaikka elämäntilanteemme ovatkin aivan erilaiset.

// Chriselle is one of the most successful fashion bloggers of our time, and her two beautiful daughters have just increased her likability. Chriselle’s eye for fashion never fails and her thoughts around motherhood are a true inspiration.

DECORATION

Sisustustilit ovat minulle uusi tuttavuus, mutta vähitellen olen ajautunut niiden pariin aina enemmän ja enemmän. Kodin sisustaminen on mielestäni aivan ihanaa, mutta valitettavan kallista. Muun muassa näiltä tileiltä yritän kuitenkin saada uusia ideoita oman kotini laittamiseen.

// Accounts related to decorating and interior design are a new genre for me, however I find myself looking for them more and more. I love decorating my home, however often find myself cursing over how hellishly expensive it often is. However, when I’m looking for inspiration, these accounts are where I mostly find it.

Sophie Paterson, @sophiepatersoninteriors. Brittiläisen sisustussuunnittelijan kuvat vievät mennessään. Sophie käyttää sisustuksessa pitkälti neutraaleja ja harmonisia sävyjä, pehmeitä materiaaleja ja kiinnittää huomiota ykstyiskohtiin, kuten nimikoituihin lakanoihin ja itse suunniteltuihin tapetteihin. Tili on yksi suosikeistani, ja Sophie saisi ilomielin tulla suunnittelemaan minunkin kotini 😀

// The pictures of the London based interior designer take my breath away time after time. Sophie uses a lot of neutrals and harmonic tones in her designs, and has an amazing eye when it comes to details, such as beautiful sheets and wallpapers. Her account is one of my all time favourites, and I truly wouldn’t mind having her decorate my home too 😀

Ashley Stark Kenner, @ashleytstark. Ashley on isovanhempiensa perustaman mattofirman omistaja ja jakaa sisustusinspiraatiotaan ja kuvia upeasta kodistaan Instagram-tilillään. Ashley kuvissa ihastuttavat aika lailla kaikki, ennen kaikkea maalausten ja taiteen näkyvyys sisustuksessa sekä erilaisten materiaalien luova yhdistely toisiinsa.

// Ashley is the owner of Stark carpets, a brand that her grandparents established and shares her interior inspiration and bits and pieces of her beautiful home on her Instagram account. I love more or less everything about her photos, and in particular love her eye for how paintings and art in general can be part of the interior and how different materials can elegantly be combined.

Architectural Digest, @archdigest. Tämä tili kuuluu yhdelle kaikkien aikojen legendaarisimmista sisustuslehdistä, enkä saa siitä tarpeekseni. Ehdottomasti seuraamisen arvoinen!

// This account belongs to the legendary magazine of all things related to interior design, and I love this account. Definitely worth checking out, if you haven’t already!

Style by Lojs, @stylebylojs. Ruotsalaisia sisustustilejä on monia, mutta stylebylojs on yksi suosikeistani. Lojs on sisustanut monen tutun ja tuntemattomankin ruotsalaisvaikuttajan kodin, ja todella pidän monista hänen keksimistään tilaratkaisuista.

// There’re plenty of Swedish interior design related accoutns out there but @stylebylojs is definitely one of my favourites. Lojs has designed many homes beloning to famous, and less famous, Swedish influencers and I really like the way she dares to use darker colours and finds innovative solutions for spacial issues.
