Kuten aiemmin mainitsin, jouduin muutama viikko sitten hankkimaan uudet esiintymishousut ja tässä ne ovat! Olen aina inhonnut housujen ostamista koko sydämeni pohjasta, mutta nämä löytyivät (kerrankin) harvinaisen helposti. Päätin koittaa tuuriani ja tilata housut netistä, ja se kannatti! Housut istuivat hiukan liian isoa kokoa lukuunottamatta kuin nenä päähän. Vyötärön löysyys ja liian pitkät lahkeet korjaantuivat onneksi helposti vyön sekä ompelutaitojeni avulla.

Toinen osa Gina Tricolle tekemääni tilausta ja uutta lemppari-esiintymisasuani on niin ikään postauksessa nähtävä yksiolkaiminen valkoinen paita. Rakastan siinä kaikkea: mallia, hiukan löysähköä istuvuutta, kangasta… Sekä paitaa että housuja taitaa edelleen löytyä Ginan valikoimista, joten jos ihastuitte yhtä palavasti kuin minä, kannattaa nettikaupan tarjonta ainakin tarkistaa!

Tänään vietän rauhallista harjoittelupäivää, sillä alkavasta viikonlopusta taitaa tulla aika kiireinen. Huomenna harjoitellaan ja illalla on toiseksi viimeisen oopperaesitykseni aika ennen Taideyliopiston pikkujouluja. Toivoisin koko sydämeni pohjasta, että voisin vaihtaa vapaalle ja nauttia illasta täysin rinnoin, mutta sunnuntai-aamuna odottaa luokkakonsertti, ja näin ollen toivon todellakin olevani sängyssä viimeistään kello yhteen mennessä 😀 Lisäksi viikon päässä häämöttää 3 esseen deadline, ja haluaisin kovasti saada ainakin yhden niistä valmiiksi… Toivottavasti teillä on hiukan rennompi viikonloppu luvassa!

// Happy Friday everyone! After sleeping in a bit after last nights show at the opera, I’m about to spend a long and peaceful day practicing before finishing off the week with a movie night with Fransien. Before running off to get a practice room I thought I’d enjoy my morning moment a bit more and squeeze in a brief post in honor of this Friday morning!

As I mentioned I had to buy a new pair of performance pants lately and here they are! I’ve always hated shopping for pants, but was surprisingly lucky with this pair. I took a gamble, ordered them online without trying and turns out it was totally worth it! The pants were slightly too big, but nothing that a belt and my sewing skills couldn’t take care of.

The second part of my order – and my new go to concert outfit – was this white one shoulder shirt. I love everything about it: it’s classy and chic, but with the perfect little edgy twist. I’m quite sure both are still to be found at Gina Tricot, so if you are crushing as much as I am, it’s totally worth checking out!

Besides movie nighting with Fransien tonight, it’s going to be quite a busy weekend. Tomorrow is all about practice, my second to last show at the opera and the Christmas party of the Theatre Academy in the evening. I wish I could stay late and take a proper night off, but we have a class concert on Sunday so this girl will hopefully be in bed by 1 o’clock 😀 In addition I have 3 essay deadlines around the corner, and would very much love to have at least one done and sent by the end of this weekend… I hope all of you will have a slightly more relaxing weekend ahead of you!
