Tiedän sanoneeni, että pyrin pukeutumaan joka päivä sosiaalisesti eristäytymisestä huolimatta, mutta nyt täytyy kyllä myöntää, että homma käy päivä päivältä aina hankalammaksi. Tässä vaiheessa voin nimittäin rehellisyyden nimessä sanoa: ellen lähtisi joka päivä töihin, en todennäköisesti pukeutuisi treenitoppia ja leggingsejä kummempaan 😀 Moni ihana kevätasu jää ikävä kyllä käyttämättä, mutta kaipa niitä voi käyttää ensi vuonnakin, haha.

Vaatteisiin liittyvästä inspiraatiokadosta huolimatta olen ihan uskomattoman innoissani alkavasta keväästä. Viime viikonloppuna otin ensiaskeleeni kohti kevätajan vaatekaappia, pakkasin muutamat talvitakit kellariin ja hain ylös laatikollisen täynnä takkeja, kenkiä ja muita vaatteita. Tänä viikonloppuna yritän saattaa projektin päätökseen, enkä malta odottaa, että saan vihdoin vaihtaa kaikki talvisaappaat kevyempiin kenkiin ja pakata viimeisetkin takit laatikoihin odottamaan ensi vuotta!

Näissä kuvissa taitaakin siis olla viimeinen kylmien säiden asu! Kuvissa näkyvään harmaaseen takkiin olen viime viikot käpertynyt lähes päivittäin. Olen ollut vähän ristiriitaisissa fiiliksissä tämänmallisten takkien suhteen, mutta pitkin pitkän talven ne ovat raivanneet paikkaa sydämessäni. Ja pakkohan se on myöntää, onhan malli ihan valtavan mukava ja kaiken lisäksi aika siistin näköinen! Tykkään takin rennosta tyylistä, etenkin yhdistettynä aurinkolaseihin ja johonkin kivaan laukkuun. Mitä mieltä te olette? 🙂

I know I said that I strive to get dressed as usual despite the quarantine, but must admit it’s getting harder and harder for every day that goes by. Now we’ve officially reached the point where I can admit: were I not leaving my place for work, there is not a chance I would dress up in anything but yoga pants and a sports top 😀 This time is such a waste of beautiful spring outfits, but guess I’ll get a chance to use them next year, haha.

Despite feeling somewhat un-inspired when it comes to clothing at the moment, the spring weathers are bringing me so much joy. This is my absolute favourite season! I love the way the world wakes up again, how fresh the air is and how the constantly softening winds are slowly but surely starting to give a hint of that the summer is coming. Last weekend I took the first steps towards my spring time wardrobe and took some of my winter coats down to the cellar and brought back up some spring coats, shoes and clothes. This weekend I’ll finish, and can’t wait to leave my winter boots behind for good!

The outfit of these photos is therefore likely to be the last cold weather look in quite a while, or at least I hope so! During the past weeks I’ve been happy to bundle up in this coat. I struggled for a long time with this model but am realising I might just be falling in love. They are so comfortable! This particular one is slightly over-sized and ends up looking like I’d be wearing one of my father’s robes if not belted properly, haha… Nevertheless love the relaxed style for a long stroll, especially when styled with a pair of casual sunglasses and a nice bag. What do you think? 🙂
