Maailman ihaninta perjantaita kaikille! Edessä siintää viimeinen opiskeluiden täyttämä viikonloppu ennen kahden viikon pääsiäislomaa, enkä voisi olla enempää innoissani. Vaikka pääkaupunkiseutu on pitkälti sulkutilassa, ei mahdollinen tekemisenpuute huoleta ollenkaan – päinvastoin. Olen niin kiitollinen siitä, että edessä siintää muutama päivä aikaa nukkua enemmän, tehdä vähemmän ja viettää aikaa ystävien kanssa. Vaikka lomalle on päässyt kasaantumaan myös jonkun verran rästitehtäviä, ykkösprioriteettina tulevina viikkoina tulee olemaan ennen kaikkea uni ja lepo. Sitä tarvitaan.

Nyt lakkaan kuitenkin unelmoimasta tulevasta ja siirryn tämän postauksen todelliseen aiheeseen! Viime kesän trendikkäin asuste oli suomalaisen Gauharin kaunis letitetty tukkpanta, ja monista muista kotimaisista bloggaajista inspiroituneena minäkin päädyin sellaisen hankkimaan. Hi, and happy Friday to all of you! I have one last weekend left before a long awaited two-week spring break and I literally couldn’t be more excited. Although the world surrounding me is locking down one thing at a time, I really don’t mind – I’m just really grateful for the upcoming days of sleeping a bit more, doing a bit less and spending a bit more time with friends. Even if there is quite some recapping to do before the second half of the spring semester starts, my number one priority will be to rest. It is much needed.

Enough of dreaming, and off to the actual topic of this post! Last summer I decided to hop on the trend wagon, and purchased the ultimate Finnish it-girl accessory: The braided hairband by Gauhar. It’s been one of my best purchases of 2020, and has been used on days off, for work, school and all kinds of (socially distanced) parties. It’s such a great and easy way to give a simple outfit an elegant but fun twist – not to mention what a great statement piece it is for Zoom-meetings! 😀 I’ve gotten so many compliments for this simple accessory and I cannot emphasize enough how much I love it. The hairband is also sold in black, but for this green-eyed girl the soft, beautiful forrest green colour was an obvious choice.
